living in a home where i'm the only female makes it very challenging for me to add some "girly" touches to the decor. for example, there is a vase of silk flowers in the living room. they're actually really nice artsy ones except that more often than not, there's bound to be a plane, a rocket, or a bat on top of it.
last weekend i bought myself an earring organizer. you know, one of those pretty wired things where you can hang your favorite earrings. the one i got looks like an ornate bench, and i fell in love with it so much! i placed it on my bedside table.
except now, it looks like this:
the boys placed that in front of the bench to "guard" my jewelry daw.
why do i even bother, huh? it's a losing battle, i tell ya. =)
