if i had a baby girl....

i would have gone wild setting up a nursery room!  i know, i know, it's pointless to even talk about it as i have two boys instead.  and i'm not saying i want to exchange them for girls. no, no, no!  but it would be nice to have a daughter, if only for the decorating possibilities! not to mention endless hours of playing dress-up!

<nursery inspirations

anyway, in my search for design inspiration, i came across these lovely images.  can you imagine how absolutely gorgeous a baby's room would look if you combined all these into a chic french-inspired fantasy of a nursery? yes, i know, it's an avalanche of pink!

perhaps i should just decorate my work area and be done with it, huh? =)

sus pat! there's a shop here called Bella Chic. They sell chic furniture and things like the ones in your post. I've been there only once and died! So expensive oi. But I'm going back there when I have lots of money. I wonder when that's going to happen. lol. oh, I wish I have a room to myself too where I can decorate it chic and lovely. =)

If one of you has a girl, I'd dress her up in pink organza and she'll wear ballet shoes or Mary Janes in white. Her hair will be tamed with ribbons and flowers. She'll wear pink tights all the time ( protection from gashes and mosquito bites). I'll have a fairy wing and an angel wing for her to put on when the need arises.

I know she'll be pretty beyond words, with pink cheeks and a pert little mouth and she'll have Lola Renee's chin and Daddy's eyes. She'll have curls like Tita Joy and a wide smile like mine.

Can you picture the little girl, my darlings?

you know Pat. i never liked Pink in my whole life, till Jeri came along. even my wardrobe had a taste of pink. in all shades, but i knew which shade that will not complement my skin tone.

go ahead and decorate a part of your place JUST for YOU!
